Favourite/worst school memories: I don't know if I ever really felt like I fitted in but I did feel safe and in that way I did enjoy being in school. There were some very funny times and good company. I was in Mr Ryan's maths class, it was pretty rowdy and a tad out of control so Mr Ryan put someone in the corridor standing in the bin. This made me laugh so hard that I was given lunchtime detention and was made to stand in the bin in the playground at lunch time. I'm not damaged by this episode and I still find it amusing.

Kerry running down the steps of her house to meet the school bus heading up the hill. Making bikinis in sewing classes when the assigned work was done. Mr Reeves opening every class with “Well, 6th form” and nicking into the storeroom for a smoke in the middle of double periods (Mr Reeves that is, not me!). Gary Poppleton getting a birthday call from Humphrey B Bear courtesy of Bronwyn. Excursions into the correspondence school in the city with Kaye to visit our German teacher.

Currently single/married: Married
Living where: Central Coast NSW
Children/Grandchildren: We have 3 kids, and two grandkids who we love being with and being part of their lives and doing our best to spoil them.
Hobbies: Art and music - I draw pets and people, often as commissions. I listen to all kinds of global music and my playlist is weird and wonderful. I have also daily played guitar / ukulele and banjo over the years and I still do! We like to walk along the beach, and I don’t knock back a good coffee. I still try to exercise, but these days I’m just chasing pain from one place to another.
Favourite/worst school memories: Favourite - the friends I had. I loved being a part of a group of people especially in the senior years. The dark senior studies basement has great memories for me, as does the Senior studies room in the new section - not for study of course, just to chat. Worst memory - getting caned was no fun, but more often than not I ‘deserved’ it. Looking back it was a barbaric practise and would not be allowed nowadays, thank goodness.

Favourite/worst school memories: Favourite: * Hanging with my friends behind the maths block at recess and lunch *Sport activities, sailing on middle harbour, hockey * Walking to school with friends and stopping on a corner and debriefing after school time seemed endless Worst: * To be honest - not many * Mr Curtain coming into the male change rooms with his cane and make us strip and walk though the showers * I remember when Cathy Black threw an apple core aiming at the bin and got Mr Denant in the back of the head. For many periods of maths after that, he would take each student into the staff room and question us on who threw the apple core. Unite was everything and nobody gave Cathy up. That's my excuse for my poor maths capabilities.
